Book type train cases are indispensable for organizing trains, but this time I get 6 and 7 cars cases.
This time, I chose Tomix's book type cases because it is a plastic case, it's sturdy, and the urethane inside is a very calm gray color.
And long ago, how to using the urethane and inserting 14 cars was published in magazine TMS(鉄道模型趣味)"Model Train Hobby" March 1987".
Now, 8-car and 10-car urethanes have appeared from CASCO, and can store vehicles in full formation.
However, if you want to cut the urethane, which is more convenient, the 6-car case or the 7-car case?
This top photo is 6 cars (6206) and this bottom photo is 7 cars (6207), which look the same.
But the biggest difference is the urethane notch.
In the 6-car case, the notch is not straight, but in the 7-car case, it is very straight.
For example, pantograph cars can be stored without problems.
A photo with the cutted urethane removed.
The top two urethanes are for 7 cars and the bottom is for 6 cars.
As far as this is seen, the 7-car use is straight and very easy to process.
This photo is the 12 full wagons of MOTO Train(モトトレイン).
The partition inside is cardboard.
Therefore, isn't the 7-car case more convenient for the urethane processing?
