The Chichibu Kawase Festival Train was operated at Chichibu Railroad on 2004/7/19(national holiday). It was 4 blue electric locomotives and PALEO EXPRESS.
In the 4 locomotives, train drivers were riding in one by one, and it seemed that collaborative driving were serious. All cars were non-reserved seats, though it were expected to be crowded on the day, I could sit the seat easily.
I have never heard of the gorgeous combination of the Japanese flag and the head mark, even at JR, and it was masterpiece 4 locomotives.
This train was from Kumagaya to Chichibu, and it went from Chichibu to Kumagaya. So at Chichibu station naturally was a photo session.
I got on board PALEO EXPRESS for Chichibu. I rode off this train at Chichibu station, and rode on another train returned . so I took photos at Arakawa Bridge.
